Marilyn Keating received her BFA in sculpture from Moore College of Art
in Philadelphia, Pa. In recent years she has concentrated
much of her energy on public art, outdoor art and community projects.
She works as a Teaching Artist for State of NJ.
Marilyn has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions,
and has work in many public and private collections and has won numerous awards including
a 2025 fellowship, her fourth, from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
Other awards include a George and Helen Segal Foundation Award for New Jersey sculptors,
a Distinguished Service Award for leadership in arts education in New Jersey,
a Puffin Foundation Grant, (for creation of a graphic novel with at risk students in Gloucester City, NJ)
and a Distinguished Alumnae award, from Moore College of Art, Philadelphia, Pa..
This site highlights Marilyn's studio work. Marilyn also has worked in partnership with Debra Sachs
on public art and studio projects at The South Jersey Museum of Curiosities.
